Nervous Mist System
production : WSK
visual and sounding interactive installation, 2021
NMS Collective : Lisa Mambré, Pierre Turlotte, Yannick Moréteau, Arthur Baude, Pierre-Gilles Levallois
The great structure asleep, creaks, vibrates, laps, all slowly, waiting for some energy injection.
Far away, we can hear the remains of previous conversations. When passers-by approach, the process wakes up, and the sound mechanisms start, calling them to begin new conversation.
In answer to the public’s shares, light luminous filaments create their way and intermingle with the rhythm of the flow of speech.
We will have to instaure an exchange with the machine, but also with each other to permit a harmonious rendering.
The network is woven in the same way the links between the witnesses are reinforced, forming a complete nervous system highlighting social cohesion and the encounter through the various interactions of the moment.
